This class is designed to be a follow-on class for participants who have previously attended the Free Motion Quilting Class for Beginners. This class will teach additional free motion quilting techniques for the home sewing machine.
Each participant will be given 2 small quilt sandwiches, free motion design demos, and plenty of time to practice some basic free motion quilting designs. Supplies to Bring: 1. Sewing machine, oiled and in good working order, with feed dogs lowered and quilting/darning/free motion foot installed. 2. Sewing machine power cord, foot pedal, and bobbins. If you have your instruction manual, please bring that as well. 3. Sewing machine needles: 90/14 or 80/12 sharp (May say universal, quilting or topstitching). 4. Thread snipping scissors. 5. At least 2 different colors of thread—fun colors encouraged for practicing! 6. Note pad and pen. 7. Quilting gloves (optional, but strongly recommended) ** Please arrive with your darning/free motion foot installed on your sewing machine and your feed dogs lowered so we can all start quilting right away!
