The following classes are based on a specific pattern or topic. They generally are 1-4 sessions long. Classes are held during the morning, afternoon, evening and weekends. We require at least three students to hold a class, so if you see a class being offered, but can not make it during that time, please let us know and we will offer the class at your preferred time if possible.
Lazy Daisy

Several ladies have marveled at the bags in the shop that Judi has made. All of her bags are for sale in the shop, but why not make one for You? You need a charm pack, coordinating fabrics, interfacing along with other supplies specified on the pattern to complete this bag. She will share her tips for making this bag and can even make changed in size if needed. You don’t want to miss this class!
9 Patch Gatherings

Carrie LOVES the technique used in this book to make 9 patch blocks. She can’t get enough of these blocks. She will teach you this technique and share her tips for making these blocks. Bring along the book and a charm pack of your choice for the class.
Crazy Photo Quilt

If you are interested in learning how to make a crazy quilt block with a photo as the center focus square, you should take this class. Bring in a photo before class, if possible, to have it printed on the photo fabric, Printed Treasures.
Cost for this class is $5 and includes the printing of one photograph. Bring your sewing machine, quarter inch foot, 1/8 yard of 4-6 coordinating fabrics for your quilt block. There are a couple of sample quilts in the shop to show you the general idea of the quilt.
Screen What Nots

If you have made any screen bags, you have extra screen pieces laying around your quilting room. Cheryl will show you how you can make several different bags in many sizes. Use leftover pieces of screen or fabric to make bags for holding your pattern and supplies, threads, sewing machine attachments, embroidery or wool projects, etc. Bring along your extra screen, fat quarters, and zippers. Be sure to have your walking foot too.
A Multipurpose Bag

A Multipurpose Bag
This little bag is perfect for a lunch bag, knitting projects or kids travel bag. You can make this using pet screen or fabrics. Either are perfect for this sweet little bag with a custom closure.
Gadget Girl

When you see this pattern, you say “Nice”. When you see this bag made up you say “Wow”. Judi made this bag and said it was a wonderful pattern. You could use this as a purse or a bag that holds all your sewing gadgets. It has 8 pockets with elastic and Judi will teach you how to make these pockets.
