Fiber Arts Monthly Block Challenge

Welcome! We are so delighted to have you exploring Fiber Arts - "Art Quilting". The success of this class is based on you, the curious learner, with the support and interactions of other students and Quilt Corner instructors.

Our featured patterns will vary each month and are optional. Patterns, kits and supplies are available for purchase at Quilt Corner. A complete list of supplies needed is given up on enrollment.

Students are also invited to discuss and develop their own personalized project ideas with the instructor, Linda Lewis, who can help you create a pattern tailored to your vision. Pet portraits, or creatures of interest seem to keep one’s enthusiasm vibrant. You can easily make your own pattern or purchase a professionally made pattern from your photo by contacting Maxine Tarsey directly @ www.fabriccollagepatterns.com.

The unfinished blocks typically average around 18" x 18". You are welcome to bring collage patterns or kits from other artists (e.g., Laura Heine, Maxine Tarsey or Emily Taylor) to work on.

While this class is specific to fiber arts collaging, many of our instructors and their classes can assist you in developing your collage in an entirely new direction. More discussion on this topic in class.
