Fabric Requirements

• Four coordinating fat quarters

• 1 1/8 yards of background fabric

• 3/4 yard of outer border fabric

• 1/2 yard of binding fabric

Pre-Class Fabric Preparation

From Each Fat Quarter:

• Cut six 6 1/2" squares and subcut each square once diagonally to yield four triangles.

• Cut 2 1/2" x 6 1/4" rectangles.

• Cut eight 2 1/2" x 6" rectangles.

From Background Fabric:

• Cut sixteen 6 1/2" squares and subcut each square once diagonally to yield 16 triangles.

• Cut sixteen 2 1/2" x 6 1/4" rectangles.

• Cut thirty-two 2 1/2" x 6" rectangles.

Supplies Needed for Class

• "Playing Favorites" pattern

• Sewing machine (in good working order)

• Thread to match project

• Pins

• Scissors

• Rotary cutter

Optional Supplies

• Personal cutting mat (at least 10" cutting space)

• Personal trim mini iron mat

Additional Information

• Outer border and binding fabrics do not need to be cut prior to class.

• Using Best Press or starch is recommended when preparing fabric due to biased edges.
