How do I get my quilt ready for drop off at Quilt Corner?
Backing
If you need the backing fabrics, you can select from a variety that we have in the store to choose from. Of course you can seam together any 45" wide fabrics or you might want to check into the many EXTRA WIDE back fabrics (90" Minkee/Cuddle - 116" cotton).
The batting we use most often in the quilts we long arm is Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 or polyester, however you are welcome to bring the batting of your choosing with your quilt. There is also an option to purchase Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 in black for use in the dark quilts to limit bearding.
Quilt tops dropped off to be long armed are scheduled 8 weeks out to be returned to the customer. Whenever possible we do our best to have them complete them prior to this date however, if you need your quilt to be returned prior to 8 weeks we give you the option to have a RUSH order. These orders are returned to customers by the set rush date for an additional fee of $50 per quilt.
We quilt on a Handi Quilter Amara 20 with Pro-Stitcher Premium Edge to Edge designs and on a Handi Quilter Moxie LX with Pro Stitcher Lite.
What type of edge to edge designs do we offer? We have over 1,000 designs to choose from and your ideas are welcome. If you like to give your creative input and want to choose a design, we recommend a few sites. A few of our favorites include: Quilts Complete, Urban Elementz and Anne Bright Designs. There are many ways to view designs and we are happy to assist you with ideas.

- Press your quilt top and backing fabrics ensuring as few bulky seams or creases.
- Measure quilt top and backing. Backing fabrics must be at least 3 inches larger than the quilt top all the way around. Example: Quilt 50x50 inches. Backing 56x56 inches or larger.
- Print & complete the long arm quilting form, one form per quilt top please.
- Drop off at Quilt Corner with the completed form. (Blank forms available at the store also)
